Which Heater Should You Choose?

If you have already decided that you want a hot tub without an elevated area in the insert, and you know which shape you prefer, the only thing left is to choose the model that suits you best

What is the difference?

We offer hot tubs without an elevated seating area with either an integrated Horizon heater or an external Octa heater. Here is what you should know and consider when comparing these two options:

External heater Octa M, 30 kW or L, 38 kW

The external Octa heater gives you more freedom when choosing the power output. The standard option is 30 kW, but it can be upgraded to the 38 kW Octa L for an additional cost. If you want the water to heat up as quickly as possible, a higher output is recommended. Keep in mind that this heater also requires more installation space next to the hot tub.

Integarted Horizon heater, 20 kW

The Horizon heater offers an excellent balance between saving space in the garden, as no extra room is needed outside the hot tub, and maintaining comfort inside a round hot tub. However, it is slightly less powerful than an external heater.

The Horizon heater has a 20 kW output, while the external Octa M heater provides 30 kW, which means the Horizon heater will generally heat the water more slowly.

The advantage of a square insert is more legroom
