Delivery, Installation & Assembly Service
Can my wooden hot tub be delivered anywhere in France?
Our delivery service covers mainland France.
If you live in a remote area or on an island, please contact us with your address and we will confirm whether delivery is possible.
What delivery options does Gardenvity offer?
a) Standard delivery to the kerbside (mainland FR) is included in the price.
b) We also offer an installation and assembly service, which brings the hot tub to its final location in your garden and includes set-up. Please note: crane work is not included.
If I choose kerbside delivery, what do I need to prepare?
There are three key things you should arrange in advance:
1. Ensure a delivery vehicle has access to your driveway.
2. Arrange 4–5 able-bodied adults, or a forklift, to move the hot tub to its intended position.
3. If access is restricted and the hot tub needs to be lifted over obstacles, you will need to hire a crane.

How much does crane hire cost?
We cannot provide a fixed estimate, as costs vary depending on your location and the site conditions.
What is the typical delivery time?
The current delivery time is shown individually on each product page.
If you’d like to schedule a later delivery date, please get in touch with us.
What does the installation & assembly service include?
The delivery specialist will help position your hot tub in the garden and complete the necessary installation work.
Please note that customers are responsible for arranging a few additional people to assist with unloading and moving the hot tub parts.
This service does not cover crane costs if a crane is required.
If you select this option, we will ask for extra details about your site, such as photos or videos, exact measurements, and information about access. You must ensure good access to the site and remove any obstacles (such as gates or fence panels) that could block the way.

- Credit or Debit Card – Securely processed via PayPal. We accept VISA and MasterCard.
- PayPal – Pay directly using your PayPal account.
- 100% Bank transfer – 150 EUR If you place an order and select 100% Bank transfer as your payment method, you will receive a 150 EUR discount on your shopping basket. You will receive all the necessary transfer details in our confirmation email after placing your order. Please transfer the total amount within 2-3 days.
- 50% Bank transfer – 50% of the amount after placing your order and the other 50% after receiving the delivered goods. We will only begin processing your order once we have received your transfer. You will receive all the necessary details for the transfer in our confirmation email after placing your order. After delivery, please transfer the remaining 50% of the amount for the hot tub within 2-3 days.
How can I use my discount code?

Why choose a wood-fired hot tub instead of an electric one?
Heating with wood is far more economical than using electricity. Running costs are only a fraction of those for an electric heater.
A wood stove also heats the water much faster – typically 1–2 hours in summer and 3–4 hours in winter, compared with 12–24 hours for an electric heater.
Wood is a renewable energy source, making it the more eco-friendly option.
And finally, the fire itself is part of the pleasure – both aesthetic and therapeutic. Preparing and tending the stove becomes a calming ritual, while watching the flames gently burn away stress and tension.
Is there a maximum time I can spend in a wood-fired hot tub?
Limit each bathing session to 15–20 minutes and stay well hydrated to avoid overheating. Allow your body to cool down properly before getting back in. A second dip should usually be shorter than the first.
How long does it take to heat the water?
The recommended bathing temperature is 37–39 °C.
On average, water heats by around 8 °C per hour (for 2,000 litres). This means the water will reach 38 °C in about:
1–2 hours in summer
3–4 hours in winter
Heating times depend on the initial water temperature and the type of firewood used. Keeping the hot tub covered shortens the heating time.

Do wood-fired hot tubs bubble?
Yes – if fitted with a massage system. Air jets circulate the water, producing rising bubbles, while hydro jets give a deeper, more targeted massage effect.
How does water circulate through the stove?
This works on basic physical principles:
Inside the tub, there are two openings connecting to the wood stove – one lower inlet and one upper outlet.
As the water heats, hot water rises and flows back into the tub through the upper outlet, while cooler water at the bottom is drawn into the stove through the lower inlet.
This natural circulation continues as long as the fire is burning, with no pump required.
What massage systems do Gardenvity hot tubs use?
Depending on the model, a hot tub may include 0, 8, 10, 12, 16 or 24 jets. The number of jets is always listed in the product specification. On configurable models, you can choose the option you prefer.
Hydro jets deliver targeted water streams to relieve muscle tension.
Air jets create a gentle, whole-body massage.
Thanks to the jet combinations, our wood-fired hot tubs can rival the hydrotherapy experience of electric spas.
What is the ideal water temperature?
We recommend keeping the water at around 39 °C all year round.
Higher temperatures can cause overheating, dehydration, or headaches.
Anyone with cardiovascular issues should avoid bathing at higher temperatures.
How can I control the water temperature?
We recommend using a reliable thermometer to monitor the water as it heats. Once it reaches around 39 °C, simply stop adding wood to the stove.
If the water gets too hot, you can top up with cold water using a garden hose or remove the lid to let the heat escape naturally.
Do wood-fired hot tubs require chemicals?
If the tub is emptied after 1–2 uses, no chemicals are needed – ideal for those who prefer a natural bathing experience.
If you wish to keep the same water for weeks or months, you’ll need a filtration system, UV light and chemicals to maintain water quality.
For holiday rentals or guest use, the water should be changed after each use.
